We shall not pass any comments on whether winter is coming; we all know how underwhelming the final parts of the show were. However, in terms of the Game of Thrones universe, numerous shows are on the horizon, more than you and I can digest.
The earlier seasons of the series were indeed one of the best things on television, but they were followed up with bad storytelling. As the series ended, the makers injected us with one spin-off, putting the Targaryen family at the very center.
In terms of quality, it doesn’t really suffer from the later Game of Thrones syndrome. With a great storyline and even greater character build-up, the series was indeed up to the mark. But, like life, happiness might not last long.
George RR Martin, the creator of the literary part of the content, just confirmed something that might push everyone’s patience to the limit. He confirmed that he is currently working on a plethora of spin-off shows for the Game of Thrones universe.
Grab a chair as the number is as humongous as EIGHT.
The fans are practically not happy with it, and that is visible in the reaction. Some fans are literally pissed off about him not finishing a novel, The Winds of Winter.
Some fans are still angry about the final chapters of the series, and a few fans are demanding that the makers should just remake the last few seasons.
Now, making more spin-off content isn’t the worst, as they can work on something with Jon Snow, which most fans will probably love. Also, one spin-off about Ned Stark and the Starks will do well, but there is no official news about the future plans.
