Shakun Batra’s upcoming directional project, Gehraiyaan, will come out via Amazon Prime Video on February 11. The makers have released two songs of the upcoming movie so far. Now, its third soundtrack, Beqaaboo, is out now. It shows the mesmerising chemistry between the stars Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Plus, it delves deep into their romance. The other two tracks of the movie are ‘Gehraiyaan – Title track’ and ‘Doobey’.
Kausar Munir has penned down the lyrics of the Beqaaboo song. He is also responsible for Doobey’s lyrics. On the other hand, the trio of Shalmali Kholgade, Savera Mehta, and Kabeer Kathpalia bestowed their beautiful voices here. All the movie’s soundtracks come under the label of Sony Music India.
The film’s plot revolves around the messy life of Alisha (Deepika Padukone). She is in her thirties now. But her life problems continue to function as roadblocks for all her ambitions. However, her complicated life turns upside down after the arrival of her cousin, Tia, and her fiance, Zain. Soon, she starts bonding with the latter. Later, she falls for him. The viewers will witness how the ghosts of her past life come to torment her again. And how she manages to confront them.
Batra is also serving as the producer of Gehraiyaan with Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. We have Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Pandey, and Dhairya Karwa in the film’s cast.
