‘Paradise’ has a screenplay written by Peter Kocyla, Boris Kunz and Simon Amberger and it is directed by Boris Kunz. The movie tells the story of a near future which is dark and yet exciting. There is a company that can transfer years of one’s life to somebody else, this technology makes the company a multi billion dollar one. A man who works for Aeon, the firm, gets to know some dark truths about it. He investigates more and finds a darker side of the technological marvel. But suddenly, his wife is charged with debt and she has to pay 40 years of her life. The couple struggles through the situation with great difficulty.
The cast includes actors like Lorna Ishema, Iris Berben, Kostja Ullmann, Lisa Marie Koroll, and many others. The performances are convincing and other departments are executed well enough. The movie has been rated 5.2 on IMDB. The movie has a premise somehow similar to Justin Timberlake’s sci-fi thriller ‘In Time’. However, ‘Paradise’ is not less interesting and keeps you engaged throughout the movie. It is an interesting premise and if you are a fan of science fiction thrillers, you should not miss it.
