‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife‘, the 2021 installment of the popular Ghostbusters franchise is going to stream on a different platform from the 10th of April. It will be available to watch on SonyLIV. It still is streaming on Netflix but will leave the platform soon.
The film was written by Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman and directed by Jason Reitman. Ghostbusters: Afterlife stars actors like Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Annie Potts, Ernie Hudson and Paul Rudd in major roles. It came out in November 2021.
The film tells the story of a single mother who, with her two kids, moves to a new town. In the farmhouse she inherited from her father, they discover their links to the legendary team of Ghostbusters. The kids are excited by the secret legacy that their grandfather has left for them. The film is set 32 years before the film. Ghostbusters 2 and many actors from the film reprise their respective roles with a younger version of themselves. It is a wonderful comedy and if you have not watched it you should definitely give it a try. Bill Murray and Paul Rudd are funny as usual and the rest of the cast and crew too did a pretty good job.
The cinematography of the film is handled by Eric Steelberg and the music is given by Rob Simonsen. If you are a fan of the series, you would definitely like the film. Watch the film just in case you have missed it for so long. Presently it is available on Netflix but it will be leaving the platform on the 9th of April and from 10th it will be there only on SonyLIV.
