The first teaser for ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ is out now. Well there are a lot of your favourite actors starring in the movie. Paul Rudd is there. Kumail Nanjiani, Carrie Coon are there. And the wonderful Bill Murray too is starring in the film. The release dates have not been revealed yet.
The movie is directed by Gil Kenan and he has also co-written the script with Jason Reitman. This is the fifth film in the Ghostbusters franchise and the dirt sequel to ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’.
The teaser starts with a quite happy and cheerful mood. Everybody is happy because it is a warm summer day in New York and people are having fun on the beach. Suddenly a huge dark cluster of course rushes towards the beach. People in the sea hurry up. Sharp sticks of ice rise from the sea and everything gets frozen. The uncanny ice devours almost the whole city and it looks like some ghosts’ doing. The movie has been described as a story where old and new Ghostbusters fight evil together. The Spengler family returns to the New York Firehouse and teams up with the original Ghostbusters. The teaser is beautiful, funny and hilarious. It looks like the movie will do justice the the franchise.
The movie is based on the 1984 movie ‘Ghostbusters’ directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Arkroyd and Harold Ramis. Dan Arkroyd serves as an executive producer in Frozen Empire.
There are other actors in the movie having important roles: like Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Logan Kim, Celeste O’Connor, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and more. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire premieres this spring.
