Good news for fans of the monsterverse. The 2024 movie ‘Godzilla×Kong’ will be available to watch on OTT soon. The full name of the movie is ‘Godzilla×Kong: The New Empire’. It will premiere on JioCinema on the 29th of August this year.
The movie comes from Warner Bros. and is directed by Adam Wingard. It is a direct sequel to the 2021 film ‘Godzilla VS Kong’ which set the two monsters in a fight against each other. ‘Godzilla×Kong: The New Empire’, however, has the two of them coming together to fight a third monster. Kong meets more ‘people’ from his own species and is compelled to help Godzilla in the fight against Skar King and the frost-breathing Shimo, who want to take over the Earth surface.
The movie stars actors like Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, Fala Chen and more. Most of them return from previous movies of the franchise. ‘Godzilla×Kong’ is the fifth film of the Monsterverse and also the 38th film of the Godzilla series.
It is a great time for cinephiles who like monsters. ‘Alien:Romulus’ is coming to cinemas, ‘Godzilla Minus One’ was a huge success at the box office and is killing it at OTT as well.
