The trailer for the upcoming movie Govinda Naam Mera is out. The movie starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar is heading directly to Disney+Hotstar.
Produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom 18, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan.
Regardless, the trailer is a perfect fun ride. It is a comedy movie where we see a struggling choreographer Govinda Waghmare played by Vicky Kaushal. He is having an affair with his dance partner Suku played by Kiara Advani. But he is also married and has a very dominating wife called Gauri played by Bhumi Pednekar.
Govinda doesn’t like being with Gauri but is forced to stay in a toxic relationship due to his pathetic financial condition. She keeps taunting her for that and is also aware of her husband’s extramarital affair with Suku.
Even the names of the characters are caricaturish which enhances the fun.
But a murder happens and their life turns upside down because of that. Govinda Naam Mera trailer shows even those scenes with absolute hilariousness.
The year end on Disney+Hotstar is yet again secured by a fun ride just like last year when it was Atrangi Re.
The movie is scheduled to be released on the 16th of December.
