You might be aware that streaming giant Disney+ is developing a series on Percy Jackson. Not only is the series highly anticipated but it also enjoys a massive cult amongst its following. Regardless, those following the updates of the series must be aware that Walker Scobell is playing the lead role of Percy Jackson.
Now the series has expanded its cast and we are sure about the Gods. The series has cast two prominent actors for playing God Zeus and Poseidon. They are Lance Reddick as Zeus and Toby Stephens as Poseidon.
Also, the cast includes as Aryan Simhadri as Grover and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth.
If you are aware of the Greek mythology then you must be knowing that Zeus is the all-powerful king of Gods while Poseidon is the God of the sea. Also, Poseidon is Percy’s father.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians are about a 12-year-old demi-god as he is “just introduced to his newfound divine powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt.” With help from his friends Grover and Annabeth, Percy steps on an adventure to find it and restore order to Olympus.
Disney+ shared a picture of the new cast along with Walker Scobell while announcing the cast expansion.
