Recently there has been a lot of buzz about certain somebody debuting into the OTT space. That certain somebody is none other than India’s much favourite actor Hrithik Roshan himself. As of now, we can say that 2021 is off to a great start. The news is fresh about him joining the digital space and it is being said that he has already locked the deals with Disney+ Hotstar for his debut.
Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming production is the remake of the much celebrated novel, “The Night Manager” written by John Le Carre. The fun part here is that the new production will be helmed by none other Hrithik Roshan’s very good friend and co-star Preity Zinta. Yes, Preity Zinta was the one planning to make a remake of the famous novel and according to reports it is said that Hrithik Roshan that she asked for, for her latest production.
And just like good friend Hrithik didn’t wait any longer and hopped into the train to make his debut alongside Preity Zinta as the producer for the upcoming production. She has mentioned that since the lead character has so many complexities and layering within him that she thought Hrithik would be best suited for this role. The remake will be directed by writer-turned-director Sandeep Modi. This will also be Preity Zinta’s first venture into the world of production. As of now, news has been that the novel will be turned into a web-series.
Other than “The Night Manager” and his debut into the OTT world, Hrithik is quite busy these days with his upcoming movie “Krrish 4”, which will apparently have a triple role by the Greek God himself. On the other hand Preity Zinta has been locked away in Los Angeles with her husband owing it to the ongoing pandemic.
