The makers of SonyLIV’s Gullak have proven themselves to be a rare breed of showrunners with Season 4. Instead of simply capitalizing on the show’s success, they have cleverly used its strengths and added fresh elements that preserve the show’s heart and soul. All lead performers, such as Jameel Khan (Santosh Mishra), Geetanjali Kulkarni (Shanti Mishra), Vaibhav Raj Gupta (Anand Mishra), and Harsh Mayar (Aman Mishra), have won fans’ hearts again with their mesmerising and scene-stealing performances. We see no reason why SonyLIV shouldn’t renew Gullak for Season 5. Gullak is a rare Indian show that keeps getting better. This simple yet marvellous Shreyansh Pandey creation deserves every bit of applause from fans. Can’t wait for the next season!
