Guy Ritchie’s popular web series ‘The Gentlemen’ will be coming back with a new season soon. The filmmaker has announced a second season for the superhit show.
‘The Gentlemen’ comes from the same universe as the movie of the same name by the director that came out in 2019. It starred actors like Charlie Hunnam, Matthew McConaughey, Colin Farrell and Jeremy Strong in major roles but none of them were there in the show because it went on with a different set of characters.
‘The Gentlemen’ is a comedy series and tells the story of Eddie, a young man who inherits a huge family estate but soon finds out that there are illegal drug peddlers running a racket and they do not intend to leave his estate anytime soon. This puts Eddie in a big problem and he tries many ways to get them out. But soon everything changes. You will have to watch the show to know what happens there. It is one of a kind series and Guy Ritchie’s genius is very much visible.
The show starred Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito and Ray Winstone and the performances are extraordinary. Most of the characters will return for the second season and of course Theo James will play Eddie again.
The first season had a total of eight episodes that were not longer than an hour. It will be great to have a new season for a show that has been loved by audiences and critics and is rated as high as 8.1 on IMDB.
The release date and other details will be revealed later on.
