The official trailer for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s much anticipated movie ‘Haddi’ has been released now. It will have a direct-to-OTT release and will be premiering on the 7th of September on Zee5.
The movie is directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma. ‘Haddi’ is going to be a gritty revenge thriller. Nawazuddin will be playing the role of a transgender who is out for avenging the death of a respected mother-like figure. There are other actors in the movie like Shreedhar Dubey, Ila Arun, Rajesh Kumar, even Anurag Kashyap. Anurag Kashyap plays a powerful man associated with the underworld, who employs Nawazuddin’s character for committing murders. Anurag Kashyap kills off Ila Arun, the matriarch of Nawazuddin’s community and Nawaz prepares for revenge. The trailer is pretty good and both Nawazuddin and Anurag look convincing in their roles. It will be quite interesting to see the wonderful actor-director duo, famous for so many successful movies, finally facing off as the protagonist and antagonist of a movie.
It looks like there will finally be a nice revenge thriller from bollywood after so long. Nawazuddin looks fierce and wild in the trailer, returning to form after long.
Fans think this is the movie that can turn the career of Nawazuddin in a whole new direction after the multiple average and mediocre stories he delivered. Since the first looks of the actor from the movie circulated on the internet, there had been huge buzz around it.
