Happy Birthday Deepika Padukone! Here Are Her Best Films To Stream

Deepika Padukone is one of the most influential stars in today’s Bollywood. She debuted in Hindi cinema alongside Shahrukh Khan in 2007 and has come a long way since then.

Today she has turned 36. It is very rare to achieve what she has at this age. She has millions of fans who would definitely want to celebrate her birthday. For that purpose, we are suggesting the top 5 movies of Deepika Padukone that you can stream to appreciate the enormous capability she has as an actor.

5. Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (Jio Cinema)

This was the first collaboration of Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It is a musical drama that is inspired by the epic tale of Romeo and Juliet. Released in 2013, this movie is available to stream for free on Jio Cinema.

Just like most Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, we got to see insanely loud and impactful performances by the lead. One who steals the show is Supriya Pathak in her portrayal of a badass mafia queen Dhankor.

If you are a fan of larger than life performances then this should not be a film you should miss.

4. Piku (SonyLIV)

This Shoojit Sircar directed film earned a Filmfare Best Actor (Critics) award for Amitabh Bachchan. This is a highly innovative film in which there are not only great performances but a lot of emotions as well.

Piku travels with her father Bhaskor Banerjee to Kolkata. They do not share a very understanding and loving relationship but the road trip changes all. This film was appreciated by the public and audience as well.

3. Tamasha (Netflix)

Tamasha is one of those cult classics that was initially rejected by the audience but later worshipped. This is a highly philosophical and thoughtful movie that tells us the correct way of living a joyful life.

Through the story of Ved and Tara, Imtiaz Ali very beautifully tells us the core meaning of life. The music of this film is also a great advantage that was composed by the legendary AR Rahman.

2. Bajirao Mastani (Jio Cinema)

Bajirao Mastani is a free stream movie that happens to be the second collaboration of Bhansali with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

This is nothing less than a masterpiece that tells us the story of Peshwa Bajirao who won 40 continuous battles in the arena but lost against his own family. This is an epic love story of Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani Bai. The film is supplemented with some amazing performances and great music.

1.Padmaavat (Prime Video)

The third collaboration of Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Ranveer and Deepika gave us this great film. The film had to pass immense hurdles to find its way to the theatres.

After a lot of political drama, riots and threats this movie was released in 2018. The performances of all the cast will be remembered for decades to come. The music however is no less than the performances. There are some wild, festive and soulful songs that are a blessing to our ears.
