The Zoom Studios’ last web series, The Holiday, had been a successful and well-received affair. Fresh news coming in from from that front is that The Zoom Studios is about to release its next original on the web platform, a situational comedy called Happily Ever After.
The premiere date for the quirky comedy has been announced, and it’s 1st February 2020! That makes it another web series for netizens to watch in the already-chockful January-February months.
Happily Ever After has an interesting ensemble cast, comprising web favourites Naveen Kasturia and Harshita Gaur playing leads. It is a fresh and exciting pairing. There’s also the supporting cast of Shivankit Singh Parihar, Shruti Das and Gurpreet Saini, all playing prominent roles in the web series.
The central premise of the show is quirky and divergent. It shows the trials and tribulations that millennials have to go through while planning a simple wedding, along with glitches like budget travails, meddlesome relatives, and lots more.
Happily Ever After is helmed by director Navjot Gulati, who has just helmed the successful Bollywood comedy, Jai Mummy Di. The show will be the web debut of Navjot Gulati.
Shared Gulati with the media recently, “It’s my first venture on digital and I am very excited to kick-start this new journey with The Zoom Studios. ‘Happily Ever After’ is a situational comedy-drama that is sprinkled with moments that are bound to resonate with the millennials. The show captures the anatomy of a modern millennial relationship and explores the reality of modern-day ‘wedding goals’. I am quite eager to see the audience’s reactions to the show.”
Happily Ever After releases on the official YouTube channel of The Zoom Studios on 1st February 2020.
