Harrison Ford joins Jason Segel in “Shrinking” for Apple TV+. The 10-episode comedy series is Ford’s TV debut in a major role. The series is written and executive produced by Segel, Bill Lawrence, who co-created, executive produced and show-ran Ted Lasso and also star, writer and producer Brett Goldstein.
“Shrinking”, produced by Warner Bros. Television follows a grieving therapist (Segel) who begin breaking rules and start telling his clients exactly what he thinks. Although his ethics and training tend to be absurd, he realises that he’s making tumultuous changes to his and people’s lives.
Ford, plays Dr. Phil Rhodes, a down-to earth, successful and sharp pioneer in Behavioral Therapy. Fiercely independent Phil gets diagnosed with Parkinson’s, which pushes him out of his comfort zone as he tries to keep up with his intrusive friends, his estranged family as well as his legacy.
Lawrence’s studio-based Doozer Productions joins Warner Bros. Television in bankrolling “Shrinking”. Harrison Ford was also last seen in ” The Call of the Wild ” while reprising the titular role in the upcoming Indiana Jones film from director James Mangold. We can’t wait for the show to be our next obsession.
