Harry Potter is one of the most remarkable books of the last few years. While it remains one of the most-read books of all time, its film adaptation pushed the story to every household.
But, there is always a gap between books and adaptations. The Harry Potter film series leaves out some very important aspects of the books and the reason behind this is obviously the cinematic limitations to finish a movie in a certain time.
But looks like this gap is going to get narrowed. Because instead of a film series, HBO is developing a TV series of the insanely popular book franchise.
Yes, it is true but not been announced officially. As you may already know that George RR Martin remains highly involved in the adaptations of his books, which ensures that there is little deviation from the source material.
HBO will follow the same strategy by keeping JK Rowling in proximity, however, she won’t be the showrunner due to her controversial persona.
Each book of the franchise will be adapted into one season. This ensures that the series will feature most events of the book, unlike the film series which couldn’t do it.
But let’s see how it turns out to be. People absolutely loved the movies, and now it will be having a similar sort of challenge as Amazon had with The Rings Of Power.
