Doobey is the brand new and first song from the album of Gehraiyaan. This Deepika Padukone starrer film is scheduled to release on 11th February.
Initially the makers or let’s say Prime Video were too ignorant about the marketing of the film. There was no buzz whatsoever regarding the movie and it was as if the release didn’t matter.
Surprisingly the game has changed and a lot of people are talking about the movie. The biggest reason behind this buzz has to be the song Doobey.
The song has already crossed 37 million views in less than 6 days. Although it is not an astounding number, it has definitely helped the movie to be a matter of talk.
If you happen to visit the comment section of the song then you would find most people are talking praises of it. Surprisingly, Doobey is successful in impressing audiophiles.
What people loved most about this song is the complete newness it brings to the music. The song is very different from an average Hindi song and the grooves are intoxicating.
A lot of people are also talking about the intimate scenes and dragging Ranveer Singh in between. Mind you that Ranveer and Siddhant Chaturvedi played best friends in 2019 released Gully Boy.
The lyrics are penned by Kausar Munir who has a good deal of experience in her field. The music and singing however are minty fresh and that’s the USP of it.
Regardless, the song has definitely pulled Gehraiyaan out of the darkness it was trapped in.
It is a good sign and definitely a relief for Deepika Padukone and Prime Video.
