Hayley Atwell, Jonathan Bailey, and Eddie Marsan have joined the cast of Netflix’s Heartstopper Season 3. Alice Oseman created the romantic comedy-drama series based on her own graphic novel of the same name. The series mainly revolves around Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a gay school-going boy who falls in love with his classmate, Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). Apart from these two guys, the show also has other characters like Elle Argent (Yasmin Finney), Tao Xu (William Gao), Issac Henderson (Tobie Donovan), Darcy Olsson (Kizzy Edgell), and Tara Jones (Corinna Brown).
Hayley Atwell, best known for playing Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Grace in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, will play Diane, Nick’a wise and charming aunt, in the next season of Heartstopper. She will take him on a summer holiday to Menorca, where she will bestow him with some tough advice about his relationship with Charlie.
Veteran actor, Eddie Marsan, will play Geoff, Charlie’s therapist, in Season 3. His character is a wise but blunt therapist who will often aid Charlie in navigating the intricacies of love and life. At last, there is Jonathan Bailey (best), who will appear in the third season via a cameo appearance. Bailey is best known for his work in Netflix’s Bridgerton. In Heartstopper Season 3, Bailey will play Jack Maddox, an Instagram celebrity who will become Charlie’s celebrity crush as well.
