HBO Max has dropped the trailer of season two of the critically acclaimed Max Original dark comedy series ‘The Flight Attendant’. Developed by showrunner Steve Yockey, first two episodes of ‘The Flight Attendant’ season 2 will debut on HBO Max on 21st April, 2022 and will be followed by two new episodes on April 28 and one episode weekly with the eight part series concluding on May 26.
The trailer begins with Cassie Bowden telling how she has quit drinking and is making changes for good in her life after all. Now that she is a CIA asset, Cassie takes up the job when not flying and this time the job’s in Berlin, Germany.
While on the job as a spy, she sees some weird things around her and discovers that someone is pretending to be her which freaks her out. Working hard to build a new life, Cassie cannot afford someone else ruining it.
With everything that’s going on in her life it’s getting hard for her to hold back from drinking but her friends are there to support her through this tough time. A lot is going on in this new season where Cassie goes to Iceland under a false identity and finds out that the North Koreans have a bounty on Megan’s head and are looking everywhere for her. Will Cassie be able to hold it all together or will she succumb?
As per the official logline for ‘The Flight Attendant’ season 2, Cassie Bowden is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.
‘The Flight Attendant’ season 2 is shot in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik and has Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez returning to reprise their roles. Returning recurring guest stars include T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall.
New cast joining this season are Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and JJ Soria, as well as new recurring guest stars Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, Sharon Stone and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
‘The Flight Attendant’ is developed by showrunner Steve Yockey, who serves as executive producer alongside co-showrunner and executive producer Natalie Chaidez. Other executive producers are Greg Berlanti, Kaley Cuoco, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, Suzanne McCormack and Silver Tree.
Jess Meyer is co-executive producer with Bonnie Munoz serving as the producer. The production companies behind ‘The Flight Attendant’ are Warner Bros. Television, Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions and Berlanti Productions.
