HBO Max has finally spread its wings outside the USA. Today, 29th June, the streaming service has launched in 39 territories in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is the first venture out of the USA for the WarnerMedia-owned streaming service.

HBO Max has launched in the following Latin American and Caribbean countries: Anguilla, Antigua, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Montserrat, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Cost of HBO Max subscription in these countries –
HBO Max is offering two subscription plans in Latin America and the Caribbean –
A “Standard Plan”, which allows 3 simultaneous users, 5 personalized profiles, content downloads, video in high definition, with some titles in 4K, across all supported devices.
A cheaper “Mobile Only Plan”, which allows only a single user, with standard definition stream. The content available to watch on this plan is same as that of the Standard Plan.
Subscription rates start from as low as $3 a month, with discounts for quarterly and annual subscriptions. HBO Max is also offering a seven-day free trial in these countries.

UEFA Champions League matches until 2024, in Brazil and Mexico
All new Warner Bros films will be available for streaming 35 days after their release in local theatres. HBO Max in Latin America and the Caribbean will not offer same day streaming of new films such as Dune and The Suicide Squad, as in the US.
