2024 has proven to be the year of sequels. With many anticipated sequels and upcoming seasons of acclaimed shows released and announced, fans have really been in for a treat this year! Well, we come bearing more news to the effect.
HBO’s critically acclaimed black comedy thriller series ‘Big Little Lies’, is officially in the works for a Season 3! The melancholic show, based on the best-selling 2014 novel by author Liane Moriarty, revolves around three young mothers -Madeline, Celeste and Jane- living in an upscale beach community in Australia.
Each of the women is harboring her own secrets and telling her own lies; that is, until one of their own is killed and the world as they know it, comes tumbling right down. The hit show boasts a bigshot star-studded cast including names like Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Adam Scott, Alexander Skarsgård, and more.
The previously released seasons can be streamed on JioCinema. However, there is no further information about the upcoming episodes. No plot, cast, or release dates have also been disclosed except for the fact that Moriarty herself will play a big part in delivering the new season.
