Two movies from the Malayalam industry are all set to join the big screens tomorrow, aiming for a noteworthy box office clash. How is it going to declare the winner? Can it break the expectations?
‘Hello Mummy’ is expected to be a horror cum family comedy-drama directed by Vaishakh Elans and produced by Jobin Mathew, Aibin Thomas, and Rahul E S for Hangover Films, where Sanjo Joseph penned the story, screenplay as well as dialogues for the film.
The technical labour includes the brilliant team with the handling of cinematography by Praveen Kumar, editing by Chaman Chacko, and music as well as background scores by Jakes Bejoy respectively.
Also, the movie features an ensemble cast consisting of actors Sharaf U Dheen and Aishwarya Lakshmi in the lead roles where the latter’s performance is an awaiting factor as this will be the actor’s different type of emulation and supporting cast like actors Jagadish and Johny Antony are expected to do their part in a satiable manner.
On the contrary, ‘Parakramam’ is expected to be a coming-of-age action drama written and directed by Arjun Ramesh where Harris Desom and Millenial Films will be bankrolling the film.
Unlike the teaser’s suggestion of a mere college story, the movie expects to speak more of an individual’s vengeance against the hate in himself and how he copes with the circumstances that also affect his dear ones.
However, the story idea and cast have similarities to the highly acclaimed movie ‘Vaazha’ which can be a tiresome repetition with no distinctiveness in performances albeit there is a lack of humour side for this upcoming effort.
Cinematography by Salu K Thomas, editing by Kiran Das, and music composed by Anoop Nirichan includes the technical wing. Also, the stunt choreography by Phoenix Prabhu, P C Stunts, and Ashraf Gurukkal seems promising.
Actors Dev Mohan, Siju Sunny, Joemon Jyothir, Sangitha Nair, Renji Panicker, and Sona Olickal play important roles in the film. Stay tuned in Binged for more updates.
