Upcoming DC superhero series ‘Gotham Knights’ is all set for its small screen premiere in March this year on the CW network. And as per the latest update about the show, iconic horror movie Hellraiser’s main villain Doug Bradley has been cast in the series in an important role. The veteran actor will essay the role of the dreaded DC antagonist Joe Chill, who brutally murdered Bruce Wayne’s parents and, in a way, created Batman.
Doug Bradley will make an appearance in the sixth episode of the ‘Gotham Knights’ series. His character Joe Chill will be shown to be on a death row in prison for fifty long years and waiting for his execution.
‘Gotham Knights’ has been set as a one-hour drama amidst the turbulent times following Bruce Wayne’s murder. For the killing, the needle of suspicion falls towards the children of Batman’s enemies. At this juncture, Batman’s adopted son (played by Oscar Morgan) teams up with the rag-tag bunch of the accused and together they become the new protectors of the crime-ridden Gotham city which is now living in its erstwhile hero Batman’s absence.
Besides Oscar Morgan in the lead role, the ‘Gotham Knights’ series also features Misha Collins in the role of Harvey Dent, Navia Robinson as Robin, Olivia Rose Keagan as Duela – the daughter of Joker who is an expert thief born in Arkham Asylum, and Navia Robinson as a fearless teenager Carrey Kelly, amongst others.
