It tells the story of an art filmmaker Aniket Majumdar who falls in love with and marries a beautiful lady named Deepti. Many years later, he auditions a young actress named Shikha who is of the same age as his son. He falls in love with Shikha, finding a stark resemblance with his wife in her.
The cinematography is handled by Avik Mukhopadhyay and the music is given by the band 21 Grams. As you can expect, Abohoman is filled with awesome visuals snd wondeedul music. It will make you fall in love with Bengali cinema. At first, Rituparno thought of making the film in Hindi with the name of Kya Haseen Sitam with actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Vidya Balan but later made it in Bengali.
