‘Bhooter Bhobishyot’ came out in 2012 and is available to watch on Hoichoi. The film tells the story an ancient Mansion in the middle of Kolkata where many ghosts have taken their refuge. They cannot go anywhere else because all the favourite buildings are turned into malls and highrises. A promoter wants to turn this mansion into a shopping complex too, so the ghosts plan to stop him so that they do not have to be homeless. There is an old landlord’s ghost, played by Paran, an actress aho committed suicide, played by Swastika, a frustrated muisican’s ghost, a British officer and many others who leave no stones unturned to stop the promoter and his associates.
‘Bhooter Bhobishyot’ is written and directed by filmmaker Anik Dutta. If you have seen ‘Aparajito’, you must know the dedication with which Anik Dutta makes a film. The films stars wonderful actors Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Parambrata Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Swastika Mukherjee, Mir Afsar Ali and Saswata Chatterjee. Each and every actors has done a tremendous job in the film, but Saswata Chatterjee will win your heart many times throughout the film.
‘Bhooter Bhobishyot’ was praised by audiences and critics as well and it is undoubtedly one of the best Bengali films of recent times. It does not have any sexuality or profanity and can be enjoyed with family. Bhooter Bhobishyot is available to watch on Hoichoi.
