Hostages, a remake of Israeli show of the same name is all set to return for a new season. The information regarding the same was long known, and now we have a tentative time of the release.
The lead actor of the series, Ronit Roy and the director Sudheer Mishra shared the details regarding the season through a video interview. The second season is all set to hit the streaming platform at the end of May. It is, however, not a done deal yet as the post-production work is happening slowly due to lockdown.
Sudheer Mishra revealed that the entire shoot is wrapped up along with editing of individual episodes. The background score is happening currently. Once it is done and the final copy is checked, Hostages 2 will be ready to stream.
Hostages stars Ronit Roy, and Tisca Chopra in the lead roles. It is a thriller with several twists and turns centred on those actors playing an ex-army officer and doctor respectively. It will be interesting to see where the second season would be headed after the ending that we got.
To those who have not yet watched the series, it is now airing on Star TV. It is in addition to its availability on the Disney Plus Hotstar platform.
