‘Do Dooni Chaar’ is a hilarious comedy that came out in 2010 and is now streaming on Netflix. The movie has Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh as husband and wife and their chemistry in the movie is fascinating. There are other actors like Aditi Vasudev, Archit Krishna, Rajesh Vivek, Akhilendra Mishra, Supriya Shukla, Natasha Rastogi and more. Their performances are good as well.
The movie tells the story of an honest school-teacher, Mr Duggal, who is fed up with taunts that he cannot afford a car. Mr. Duggal decides to buy a car to raise the standard of his living and so he puts himself in a ethical dilemma by thinking of taking bribes from students for extra marks etc. The movie beautifully grasps the simple and complex problems of middle class life and if you are fond of TVF shows like Panchayat and Gullak, you will like it very much.
The cinematography of the movie is handled by Anshuman Mahaley and the music is given by Ankit Tiwari and Meet Bros Anjjan. The direction and screenplay is from Habib Faisal.
