Hotstar Special series ‘Fall’ is all set for its premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in just a couple of days and this one looks like an exciting thriller. Helmed by Siddarth Ramaswamy, ‘Fall’ is an official adaptation of the Canadian mini series ’Vertige’ written by Michelle Allen.
‘Fall’ centres the story of a young women with no memory of the 24 hours before her alleged and failed suicide attempt. The series then follows how she tries to put it all together from the depth of her memories and in the process she finds out that she cannot trust anyone not even her family and friends who have their own secrets and lies.
With scarcity of original content, ‘Fall’ is yet another remake of a foreign show following the likes of ‘Aarya’, ‘Tanaav’, ‘Criminal Justice’, ‘The Broken News’, ‘Bloddy Brother’s’, ‘Rudra’ and many more. Moreover, ‘Fall’ is touted to be a supernatural horror thriller, a difficult genre to work with.
Directed by Siddarth Ramaswamy who also handles the cinematography for the series, ‘Fall’ stars Anjali, SPB Charan, Sonia Agarwal, Santhosh Pratap, Namita Krishnamoorthy, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Poornima Bagyaraj among other.
Kishan C Chezhiyan is the editor for ‘Fall’ with music from Ajesh. Produced by Banijay Asia, ‘Fall’ will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 9th December, 2022.
