Netflix has announced its very first global fan event and has aptly called it ‘TUDUM’, taking inspiration from the iconic beat one hears at the beginning of every show or film streaming on Netflix.
‘TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event’ will take place on 25th September, 2021 and some of the biggest stars and creators from around the world, who will be representing over 70 series, films and specials, will join the virtual stage for an exciting day full of exclusives and first looks.
With a simple goal of entertaining and honouring Netflix fans from across the globe this inaugural TUDUM event will broadcast across Netflix’s YouTube channels worldwide, in addition to Twitter and Twitch. The virtual livestream event begins at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 4pm GMT / 1am JST and KST.
In addition to the above, there will be special pre-shows spotlighting Korean and Indian series and films along with exciting anime content that will kick-off at 5am PST / 8am EST / 12pm GMT / 9pm JST and KST on specific channels.
Fans can also co-stream and react to the event in real time on Facebook, Twitch or YouTube channels. Netflix has invited fans to sign up to co-stream at TUDUM.com.
In a three hour TUDUM event, fans will be able to see first looks, new trailers and exclusive clips during interactive panels and conversations with the creators and stars form Netflix. These will include the following returning as well as new shows and films:
