Tom Cruise… The man who saved Hollywood’s ass! Believe it or not, the on-screen Ethan Hunt has watched DC’s upcoming outing, The Flash, starring Ezra Miller. According to Hollywood Reporter, the actor liked the superhero film so much that he called the director, Andy Muschietti, to rave about it.
Cruise is not the only fanboy of The Flash. DC’s new co-head, James Gunn, has already declared the flick “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made”.
As per multiple reports, the Mission Impossible star had a meeting with David Zaslav, Warner Bros Discovery CEO, in which the latter sang praises about The Flash. This generated Cruise’s interest to watch the film. And his wish was granted. One of the WB’s employees brought the movie’s cut to the actor’s home in Beverly Hills. That employee stayed until Cruise finished watching the film. After that, the movie was given back to the messenger.
While singing praises for The Flash to the helmer, Cruise said that the film is “everything you want in a movie”.
