The duo of South Indian stars, Vishal and Arya, has found their way to the SonyLIV streaming platform. They both appeared in Anand Shankar’s Tamil action thriller, Enemy, released in November last year. The movie didn’t perform well in terms of box office collections. It earned only 20 crores during its theatrical run. Also, its critical reception was poor. The critic community and the viewers praised the performances of the leading duo, background score, and action sequences. However, its ending was heavily criticised by the moviegoers. Additionally, it suffered from a cluttered plot.
The plot of the movie revolves around two childhood friends, Chozhan and Rajiv. The more they grow, the more their competitive nature augments. As a result, they become each other’s enemies. This movie shows the extent to which these two guys are ready to go to prove who’s the best between them.
Apart from helming the project, Shankar also penned down its script. On the other hand, S Vinod Kumar served as the movie’s main producer under the production banner of Mini Studios.
In addition to the leading pair of Vishal and Arya, the cast of Enemy treasures Mirnalini Ravi, Mamta Mohandas, Prakash Raj, Karunakaran, and Thambi Ramaiah. The film will release via SonyLIV on February 18.
