The original Anupamaa Star Plus series has dispatched more than 500 episodes. Currently, it is the most popular show on the channel. It even became one of the most-watched Indian shows in the UK right after its release. The show’s humongous success has inspired makers to bestow some “Anupamaa” entertainment via Disney+ Hotstar. One of the latest tweets from the official Twitter account of Disney+ Hotstar showcases the teaser of Anupamaa: Namaste America 2007 starring Rupali Ganguly.
Ganguly delivers the upcoming show’s premise in her traditional Anupamaa look in the teaser. The series’ plot will take us 17 years back into the life of the leading lady. It will show the viewers the event that changed her life forever. We will witness Anupamaa trying her best to chase her dreams and live her life to the fullest.
The original series debuted on July 13, 2020, on Star Plus. After some time, it started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar too. It takes its inspiration from a famous Star Jalsha show, Sreemoyee. Romesh Kalra has helmed the majority of the show’s episodes with the help of the screenplay penned down by Bhavna Vyas. And Leena Gangopadhyay is responsible for its overall development.
