With less than 10 days left in its theatrical release, Vignesh Shivan’s upcoming rom-com, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, has become one of the hottest gossips in Kollywood. Special thanks to its popular leading trio of Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Nayanthara. Plus, the makers have also disclosed the release window of the movie’s fourth song, Dippam Dappam. Here is what we know about it so far.
The ‘Dippam Dappam’ song will become the fourth addition to Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’s list of soundtracks. It will come out on April 20th at 6 PM. One of the most prominent music composers in southern India in recent times, Anirudh Ravichander, has showered his musical talents on the film’s songs. The other three songs of the movie are: Rendu Kaadhal, Two Two Two, and Naan Pizhai. Apart from these soundtracks, three more songs are expected to come out in future.
Anirudh marks his third collaboration with Shivan in KVRK after Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015) and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam (2018). Also, the upcoming romantic comedy is the 25th movie as a music composer for the son of Ravi Raghavendra.
In addition to helming Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vignesh Shivan has also penned down the lyrics of all of the film’s soundtracks. Additionally, the trio of Shivan, Nayanthara, and S. S. Lalit Kumar produced the movie under the banners of Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studios. On the flip side, Red Giant Movies is handling its distribution. The film will hit the theatres on April 28th.
