Kota Factory fans, get ready to welcome back your favourite characters of Jeetu Bhaiya, Meena, Vaibhav and gang. Coz the show is returning with its second season, and soon! Buzz on the ground says that The Viral Fever’s Kota Factory Season 2 will stream on Netflix in September. Our guess is either 3rd September, in time for Teachers Day, in honour of Jeetu Bhaiya, the Physics teacher at Prodigy Classes, the centre of action in Kota Factory; or it could premiere on 10th September, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The TVF show returns with its second season, capturing yet more trials and tribulations in the lives of students prepping for the IITs. The new season will see Vaibhav Pandey (Mayur More) spread his wings in Kota, as he prepares for the much-feared and venerated IIT JEE, the entrance exams for the Holy Grail – admission into the haloed IITs. Jitendra Kumar will reprise his role of Jeetu Bhaiya, friend, guide, mentor and Physics teacher to the harried students at Prodigy Classes. Ranjan Raj returns as the adorably righteous Meena, along with Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Urvi Singh reprising their roles of Uday, Shivani and Meenal respectively.
Kota Factory Season 1 had debuted on the YouTube channel of TVF, in the one episode per week format. The show became an instant hit among audiences, especially youngsters and millennials. It soon climbed to the top of the charts on IMDb, and remains as one of the best-rated Indian series. Sensing the winning potential of Kota Factory, streaming giant Netflix picked up the show in its second season, and thus, Kota Factory Season 2 will premiere as a Netflix Original show.
