Here’s When Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon Will Release

If we made a list of one of the most highly anticipated films for the next year, Martin Scorsese’s next feature film directorial ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ would certainly be amongst the top contenders. To say that the film boasts of a talented cast would be an understatement as it features powerhouse performers like Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Nero, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone, amongst others.

The film has been adapted for the screen by Oscar-winning veteran screenwriter Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Munich, Dune) and is based on David Grann’s 2017 nonfiction book of the same name. And, in a recent interview (via IndieWire), Eric Roth had spilled the beans about the release date for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’. He has revealed that the movie is targeting a release as soon as November 2022 and that the film is set to go to the editing table.

‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ is a western crime drama that revolves around the mysterious serial killings of the members of the Osage tribe in the 1920s United States and the following investigation involving J. Edgar Hoover, who was FBI’s first director for almost 48 years.

‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ would be the sixth time Martin Scorsese would be collaborating with Leonardo DiCaprio as the two had previously worked together in ‘Gangs of New York’, ‘The Aviator’, ‘The Departed’, ‘Shutter Island, and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, etc.

Moreover, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ would also serve as the tenth collaboration between Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro. The actor-director duo had earlier teamed up for some fine films like ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Raging Bull’, ‘Goodfellas’, ‘Cape Fear’, and most recently ‘The Irishman’, to name a few.
