FX’s blockbuster show ‘The Bear‘ became an instant hit when it premiered in the US in June 2022. Viewers loved its sharp writing, stellar performances and wholesome story. Not just audiences, ‘The Bear’ was a hit with critics too. The 8-part series is rated a rare 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, a testament to its quality and likeability. For those who don’t know, ‘The Bear’ is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar in India, and on Hulu in the US.
Fans of ‘The Bear’ have been waiting eagerly for Season 2 of the show to premiere on streaming. Now, we’ve got the first hint of when ‘The Bear’ Season 2 will hit our TV screens. As per the makers, ‘The Bear’ Season 2 will premiere in early summer – which translates to June as per US seasons. ‘The Bear’ should begin streaming in India on Disney Plus Hotstar soon after.
There’s also confirmed information on the number of episodes in The Bear Season 2. The new season will consist of ten episodes, much more than the eight episodes of the debut season of The Bear.
‘The Bear’ is centred on a fine dining chef, who is compelled to leave the hallowed world of fine dining to manage his family’s small sandwich outlet back home. Along the way, he must deal with the vagaries of the restaurant business as well as his strained relationships with his family.
The official synopsis of ‘The Bear’ reads, “A young chef from the fine dining world comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after a heartbreaking death in his family. A world away from what he’s used to, Carmy must balance the soul-crushing realities of small business ownership, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff and his strained familial relationships, all while grappling with the impact of his brother’s suicide. As Carmy fights to transform both the shop and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveals itself as his chosen family family”.
‘The Bear’ is created by Christopher Storer. It stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Abby Elliott in pivotal roles.
