FX show ‘The Bear’ premiered on US streaming network Hulu on June 23, 2022, and became an instant hit. Viewers loved its sharp writing, stellar performances and wholesome story. After enthralling domestic audiences, ‘The Bear’ soon became a global phenomenon and one of the most loved shows worldwide. It has also proved to be a massive hit for Hulu, and creators, FX.
Season 1 of Jeremy Allen White’s breakout series enjoys a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and regularly makes it to Top 10 Series lists of audiences and critics. FX followed it up with The Bear Season 2, which premiered on Hulu on 22nd June 2023.
Now, fans of the show will be glad to know that The Bear Season 3 is all set to arrive on their screens soon – as soon as June 2024. No specific June 2024 date has been revealed by Hulu just yet. Since the previous two seasons of The Bear released on 22nd and 23rd June respectively, we can safely presume that Hulu will premiere The Bear Season 3 around the same dates – around 20-22 June 2024.
The revelation regarding The Bear Season 3 release date on Hulu came at the Television Critics’ Association’s Winter Press Tour 2024 (TCA ’24), which is underway from 5th – 15th February at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, California.
The news was announced by FX chairman John Landgraf, while he was speaking at the FX panel and presentation at the event. Landgraf also revealed that Hulu will continue with the same release format of The Bear, and release all episodes of The Bear Season 3 at one go, much like the previous two seasons.
With both seasons of The Bear streaming in India on Disney Plus Hotstar, it’s obvious that The Bear Season 3 will also premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar. However, the show has released late in India by a few weeks, which may be the case again for Season 3 of The Bear.
‘The Bear’ is centred on a fine dining chef, who is compelled to leave the hallowed world of fine dining after the death of his brother, and return to his hometown to manage his family’s small sandwich outlet back home. Along the way, he must deal with the vagaries of the restaurant business as well as his strained relationships with his family.
‘The Bear’ is created by Christopher Storer. It stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Abby Elliott in pivotal roles.
