After waiting for more than one and a half years, Sidharth Sengupta’s Undekhi Season 2 is ready to arrive on the SonyLIV streaming service. The first season got premiered in July 2020. It consisted of ten episodes. Now, we have the sophomore instalment on our doorsteps. It will drop on March 4 on the streaming platform.
The plot of the show commences in the Sundarbans region of West Bengal. But it soon shifts to Manali. The leading man, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, plays the character of DSP Barun Ghosh. He receives a call from Rishi (Abhishek Chauhan) who tells him that someone has killed a dancing girl at Papaji’s son’s wedding. Harsh Chhaya portrays the role of Papaji in this series. Also, we have Rinku Paaji (Surya Sharma) to make things worse as he was the one who shot that poor girl in the first place.
The duo of Papaji and Rinku tries its damn hard to keep this chaotic mess a secret. On the other hand, DSP Ghosh tries to solve the case by whatever means necessary. Additionally, we have Rishi who is trying his best to protect his life. The upcoming season will tell us what will happen to Rinku and Papaji.
Applause Entertainment and Edgestorm Ventures are responsible for producing the Undekhi series. All the episodes have been helmed by Ashish R Shukla. Season 2 will start streaming on March 4 via SonyLIV.
