Ever since the perfectionist Indian actor Aamir Khan had announced his next film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, movie buffs have been waiting with bated breath for the film’s trailer to be unveiled by the eminent performer. And now, in a fantastic piece of update for all the cinephiles out there, the highly anticipated official trailer for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will finally be revealed during the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) final cricket match.
Laal Singh Chaddha’s trailer will be launched during the strategic time-out of the IPL final, which is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 29th May. Aamir Khan, who is well known in the film circuit for his brilliant marketing skills, has planned to launch the film’s trailer in a grand and unique way.
Although the clever idea of launching the trailer at the IPL final might not have come as a surprise to many of his fans. Because, the ‘Lagaan’ actor has been dropping hints by way of posting some videos where he is playing cricket and talking about IPL.

It is a well-known fact that ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official remake of Robert Zemeckis’ Oscar Award-winning movie ‘Forrest Gump’ and that Aamir Khan is essaying the role which Tom Hanks had essayed. The parent film narrated the story of a kind-hearted man with subpar IQ and how he inadvertently becomes a part of multiple historical events and how he progresses in life through a simple-minded and uncomplicated approach.
Directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is all set to release in theatres on 11th August 2022. Besides Aamir Khan, the movie also features Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, Manav Vij, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
