This is exactly the case with the Tamil film we are talking about. It is called Dada and stars Kavin, Aparna Das, and K. Bhagyaraj. The movie is directed by Ganesh K. Babu who made his debut as a director with this film.
The concept of this film is heartwarming yet extremely important. A parent taking care of their child. Normally, it is the mother whom we can imagine doing this, simply because of societal norms and prejudices.
But a father should and does take care of his children. The story of the film is of one such man.
Manikandan and Sindhu study in the same college and fall in love with each other. They become physically involved and the girl accidentally becomes pregnant. The man behaves ill towards the child but circumstances force him to take sole care of the child. Slowly we see him accepting his fatherhood.
Dada is a beautiful tale about the evolution of a father. If you missed watching this gem in the theaters then you can do so on Prime Video. The film will start streaming on the platform on the 10th of March.
