Festival favourite film ‘Kacchey Limbu‘ is finally getting ready to premiere on OTT in India. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2022, and then made its way to the Kerala Film Festival and the Bangkok Film Festival.
It’s now time for Kacchey Limbu to premiere on OTT. The heartwarming sibling drama will stream on Jio Cinema from 19th May, 2023. Interestingly, the film is free to stream on Jio Cinema, with no paid subscription required to watch the film.
‘Kacchey Limbu’ stars Radhika Madan, Rajat Barmecha and Ayush Mehra in pivotal roles. Rajat Barmecha plays elder sibling Akash, who is a cricket legend in the neighborhood. Radhika Madan plays his younger sibling Aditi, the obedient kid of the family, who looks up to her older brother in more ways than one.
Akash wants to pursue his talent for cricket, his parents want him to take up a conventional job, while Aditi wants what’s best for everyone. A heated debate at home leads to Aditi challenging her brother to a cricket match. Whoever wins will get to do what their heart desires.
Kacchey Limbu is a refreshing take on sibling and coming-of-age dramas. The film is written and directed by Shubham Yogi, and produced by Jio Studios and Mango People Media.
