Romantic drama ‘Tadap’ is one Bollywood film that did better than expected business at the box office when it hit theatres in December. This, despite a raging pandemic and decreased theatrical footfalls. Tadap marked the film debut of young Ahan Shetty, the strapping son of the eternal action star, Suniel Shetty. The film created a lot of buzz owing to its well-choreographed, stylised action scenes, as well as Ahan Shetty’s sizzling chemistry with leading lady, Tara Sutaria.
Despite Tadap not being an outright hit at the box office, it is one of the most anticipated films on OTT. Digital viewers have been waiting eagerly for Tadap to arrive on streaming, so that they can watch it in the safety of their homes. Now we have confirmed information on the OTT release date and platform for Tadap. Disney Plus Hotstar has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights for Tadap. The film premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar on 28th January, 2022.
Tadap is the official remake of the Telugu film, ‘RX 100‘. It is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, alongside Fox Star Studios. The film stars Ahan Shetty, Tara Sutaria, Saurabh Shukla, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Khera, among others.
