Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Hit: The First Case’ released in theatres on July 15, 2022. The film was a moderate success at the box office, with appreciation pouring in for Rajkummar Rao’s performance as police officer Vikram. Now that it’s been two months since the release of the film in the theatres, it’s now time for ‘Hit: The First Case’ to premiere on OTT for the benefit of home viewers.
Streaming behemoth Netflix has bought the post-theatrical streaming rights for ‘Hit: The First Case’. The film will hence release only on Netflix, and on no other OTT platform. Netflix announced the premiere of ‘Hit: The First Case’ this morning on its social media handles. The streamer has still not revealed the ‘Hit: The First Case’ OTT release date yet. But we reckon it should be this Sunday, 21 August. Netflix has taken to releasing Indian movies on Sundays on its platform, hence the date.
