The animated comedy adventure movie follows an old man in his late 70s who decides to ditch his boring retired life and embark on an adventure of a lifetime to South America. He does it by lifting his house with thousands of balloons. Along the way, he makes some friends and finds an unlikely foe in his childhood idol.
Our Souls At Night, 2017 (Streaming on Netflix)
The film follows the story of a widow Addie (played by Jane Fonda) and a widower Louis (played by Robert Redford). They live in a small town in Colorado, and they have been neighbours for a long time but still hardly know each other. But the situation changes, and they form a unique connection after Addie makes an attempt to spend some time with her neighbour.
Gran Torino, 2008 (Streaming on Google Play, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV – Rent)
Helmed by living legend Clint Eastwood, the critically acclaimed drama revolves around a tough and grumpy war veteran Walt (played by Clint Eastwood) who owns a Gran Torino car. The film’s underlying story is about how he develops a relationship with a neighbouring Hmong family and tries to protect them from a local gang.
