From owning the Kannada film industry like a boss, production company Hombale Films has ventured into making films in other languages in the last few years. One of the buzziest films in their under-production slate is the Malayalam film ‘Dhoomam’. The Fahadh Faasil starrer has got film enthusiasts excited like very few movies recently.
This afternoon, Hombale Films revealed the first look of ‘Dhoomam’, featuring Fahadh Faasil up, middle and centre in the first look poster. The Malayalam film star has his lips taped in the poster, with bits of tapes stuck in a cross shape, for added effect. The poster also gives glimpses of lead heroine Aparna Balamurali, and co-actors Achyut Kumar, Joy Mathew, Dev Mohan, and Anu Mohan.
The ‘Dhoomam’ first look is edgy and interesting, and serves to amp up interest in the film by notches. The first look poster of Dhoomam is accompanied by the caption – “There is no smoke without fire, here is the first spark”. Said to be a thriller film, Dhoomam will release in theatres in multiple Indian languages of Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
Dhoomam is written and directed by Pawan Kumar, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. There’s no release date revealed for Dhoomam yet. Stay tuned to Binged.com for further details on Fahadh Faasil’s Dhoomam, including the release date, trailer and more.
