Hostel Daze Season 3 is now streaming on Prime Video. Needless to say, the series is one of the most popular on the platform. The premise is simple. It covers the story of a few boys, who live in a hostel and are pursuing Engineering.
Those who have lived inside the hostel know what a crazy ride it is, the series to an extent talks about that.
Regardless, after two seasons, the viewers are not particularly happy with the third one. The reason is, Prime Video has tricked them with the typical soap opera tactic. The makers have replaced one of the lead actors with a new one.
If you are unaware then Adarsh Gourav was essaying the titular character in the series but he has been replaced with Utsav Sarkar.
Adarsh Gourav is a tremendously talented fella who has shown his skills in The White Tiger and many other series/films. But he seems to be busy with bigger projects these days. He is a cast member of Guns & Gulaabs and is playing as important a role as Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan.
Regardless, this is not a flagship series for Prime Video and probably doesn’t matter much. But, the only disappointed fellas are the fans of the show who missed the original actor.
