After giving huge hits like ‘HIT2’ and ‘Major’, Adivi Sesh is ending 2022 with a bang, announcing his next pan India film ‘Goodachari 2’, sequel to the hit 2018 film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
The announcement was made with a motion poster featuring Adivi Sesh holding a machine gun and a thumping background music. This time ‘Goodachari 2’ will be directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi who had served as the first AD for Sesh’s ‘Major’. Earlier, Rahul Pakala was set to helm the film, replacing Sashi Kiran Tikka.
The anticipations are high for ‘Goodachari 2’ given Adivi Sesh’s new found pan India level stardom after ‘Major’ and also because the first part was quite a success at the box office.
‘Goodachari 2’ is touted to be an epic spy action thriller film and it will be interesting to see which cast members will be returning to reprise their roles in the second instalment.
‘Goodachari’ sequel was confirmed long back in 2018 itself and will be a continuation of the first part. As per the makers, detailed announcement for ‘Goodachari 2’ will happen in a massive event scheduled to held in Mumbai and Delhi on 9th January, 2023. Now that’s a smart move to start with and create that pan Indian hype for the film.
