Ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has begun shooting for the second season of ‘She’, his Netflix original series. ‘She’ season 2 was announced by Netflix in March as part of its upcoming films and series of 2021 under the hashtag #AbMenuMeinSabNew.
The global streaming giant released a video making the announcement of the start of filming of the series. The video shows setting up of the set, cameras, lights and all things related. It also captures the crew and cast prepping for the shoot.
‘She’ is showrun and co-written by Imtiaz Ali along with Divya Johri. Arif Ali, who directed season 1, will serve as the show’s director for season 2 as well. Viacom 18 Studio’s Tipping Point (‘Ray’, ‘Jamtara’) and Window Seat Films has produced the crime-thriller series.
In this sequel season, after swearing her allegiance to drug lord Nayak, Bhumika (Aaditi Pohankar) must walk the dangerous line between siding with the police or with crime, while simultaneously exploring her newfound sexual liberation, as Nayak’s larger plan unfolds.
Aadtiti Pohankar, Vishwas Kini, Kishore Kumar G, Shivani Rangole and Suhita Tatte star in this new season of Netflix original series ‘She’.
Release date of ‘She’ season 2 remains to be announced by Netflix.
