Before the release of his much awaited upcoming film ‘Jailer’, Rajinikanth has given yet another reason to his fans to stay excited. On the occasion of their chairman Subaskaran’s birthday Lyca Productions has today announced Rajinikanth’s 170th film in the lead role.
#Thalaivar170 (working title) will be directed by ‘Jai Bhim’ filmmaker TJ Gnanavel and will be his third venture as a director. The film’s music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander who has earlier scored music for Rajinikanth starrer films like ‘Jailer’, ‘Darbar’, and ‘Petta’.
Shooting for #Thalaivar170 will begin soon under the leadership of GKM Tamil Kumaran and the film is slated for release in 2024. Further details about cast, crew and storyline have been kept under wraps and will be revealed later.
There were many speculations around what the announcement will be when Lyca Productions shared yesterday about the big reveal. Netizens mostly guessed it to be something related to Ajith Kumar’s 62nd film but proving all of them wrong, the production house very stealthily managed to keep it a surprise for the fans with Rajinikanth’s #Thalaivar170.
