Hottest film of the season ‘The Kerala Story’ director Sudipto Sen has reunited with the film’s producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah for their next project together that is titled ‘Bastar’.
The announcement came today via Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Sunshine Pictures banner. ‘Bastar’ is touted to be another gripping true incident story that will leave the audience speechless and will unravel a hidden truth that will take the nation by a storm.
The poster launched for ‘Bastar’ features a lush green forest with fallen trees, guns and a communist flag. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on 5th April, 2024.
Following a group of women from Kerala who are forcefully converted to Islam and made to join ISIS, ‘The Kerala Story’ has been in the news for many reasons, mostly controversial. Despite all that the film managed to be a blockbuster at the box office and became the third highest grossing Hindi film of the year till now.
